Danish AUTIG Members Discuss Future of Car Market
What will the future of automotive industry look like? This question will be raised by the members of the Danish business association AUTIG on August 28th. Together with Erik Lundtoft and CARMUNICATION they will look into a data-driven future.
AUTIG and CARMUNICATION agree: data is the future of the car market. Erik Lundtoft (CARMUNICATION) will talk about our idea and technology in a three-hour meeting in Danish Middelfart. He will answer the following questions amongst others:
- What will the future of repairing and car services look like?
- Which advantages do independent data-plattforms provide – also for consumers?
- What does the independent aftermarket expect from car manufacturers?
- How is our platform organised and which measures on data-security does CARMUNICATION take?
A discussion on ideas and plans for cooperations in the aftermarket will follow. Therefore examples of use and future business models with visual data will be elaborated. A detailed descriptions of the event can be found in the large magazine Motor-magasinet.
Members of AUTIG will attend. They are suppliers of car parts and equipment, vehicle maintenance and repair products, workshop equipment and services.
The Danish business association AUTIG is also active internationally: It supports the ECAR Alliance (The European Campaign for the Freedom of Automotive Parts and Repair Market) and the work of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA). Also the right-to-connect campaign is coordinated by AUTIG in Denmark, who is one of the initiators of the campaign.
